I watched a movie available on NetFlix, called “Burzynski”, and subsequently visited the website listed below. What I saw from both made my hair stand on end, and I believe will make your hair stand on end also!
The longer I watched the movie, the angrier I became. When you watch it, and I Strongly Urge you to do so, I am sure you will have the same feelings as I did. Watching as the greedy pharmaceutical companies who ‘own’ the FDA, manage to keep a promising cancer therapy from ‘formal clinical trials’ - for over 10 years – because it was found by an independent doctor in Texas instead of one of their research facilities, will make your blood boil too.

Eric Merola’s documentary focuses on the controversies surrounding Dr. Stanislaw Burzynski, a Polish-born physician who has been at the center of controversy following his development of antineoplastons as a treatment for seemingly incurable cancers.
In offering antineoplaston therapy instead of chemotherapy and radiation treatments, Dr. Burzynski forced the medical profession and the pharmaceutical industry to reconsider their long-held theories on cancer treatment. The reaction, not surprisingly, was harsh and negative. The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) sought to stop him based on a legal anomaly – Dr. Burzynski conducted his work in Houston without FDA approval, which was legal under Texas law at the time. Despite negative pressure from the media and the Congress, the FDA pushed five separate federal grand juries to indict Dr. Burzynski, ultimately resulting in two federal trials that failed to return guilty verdicts.
When the FDA couldn’t stop him, the federally funded National Cancer Institute reluctantly agreed to work with him – albeit by intentionally screwing up his instructions, thus resulting in test results that could not possibly succeed. Simultaneously, the government sought to hijack Dr. Burzynski’s research and patents on antineoplastons.
As filmmaking goes, “Burzynski” is fairly elementary stuff: talking head interviews, old news footage, and images of letters and documents with highlighted text. Dr. Burzynski and his supporters speak at length, but equal camera time is not given to those who questioned his work and results. (Even the film quietly admits that most of Dr. Burzynski’s patients have not achieved cancer-free results.)
Nonetheless, the film offers a jolting examination of the hideous collusion between federal agencies and the pharmaceutical industry. In their partnership, profits and ego massaging takes priority over the treatment of the terminally ill. Furthermore, the testimony of Dr. Burzynski’s patients – particularly the tragic testimony of a San Francisco policeman whose child died from the ravages of chemotherapy even though her cancer was cured by the doctor – provides a stirring contradiction to the empty boasts about the quality of the American medical system. http://www.filmthreat.com/reviews/22302/
Dr. Burzynski documented the ‘cure’ for several brain cancers, and his ingredients are patented by the US Patent office (more than 10 patents). But, for over a decade the FDA conducted an illegal campaign to dis-allow the drug to be “formally clinically tested on humans” even though it had been in use by Dr. Burzynski through his clinic for the duration of that period. Fortunately, for the World, the good doctor manufactures the compound given to cancer patients in a facility he built himself, and controlled by him and his colleagues at his facilities. He tested his product on his own patients (and those referred to him by them) – completely made without man-made chemicals – manufactured from NATURAL ingredients, without additives, from the urine and blood of humans.
Dr. Burzynski found that certain amino acids contained in urine and blood are higher in normal healthy people, but those same amino acids were lacking or very low in patients who had been diagnosed with several different types of brain cancer. After investigating this find, Dr. Burzynski began experiments to determine if these naturally produced chemicals actually cured cancers. What he found was that by increasing certain chemicals normally produced in the body, cancers were stopped and destroyed in his patients – with no side effects at all. (Unlike the ‘mainstream’ cancer therapy’s which cause innumerable side effects on patients and usually only prolong life – miserably, can actually cause more cancers or cancer’s return, and offer patients a really horrendous life after treatment – before their ultimate death from the cancer anyway.)
Of course, when he submitted his drug to the FDA for approval the implications to the cancer therapy community and the pharmaceuticals companies producing the “killer drugs” became obvious to the researchers. Thus began the campaign to ‘steal’ the product from Dr. Bruzynski and to discredit and/or ruin him.
I won’t reiterate all the details here, but I will say – This is just another way that Big Businesses Abuse Consumers. Rather than embrace a solution to deadly cancers, the FDA and Big Pharma, set out to steal Dr. Burzynski’s cure, and give it to a pharmaceutical company who had hired a former researcher at his laboratory. The dubious ethics of this researcher are noted, since she took credit for Dr. Burzynskis’ work through the FDA’s pharmaceutical company. Why? Money of course!
Because Dr. Burzynski discovered, created, and patented this drug, he will hold the single license to produce it. Also, many companies who currently produce drugs and radiation equipment to “treat” cancer will find themselves without a reason to continue manufacturing said drugs and equipment. Wow… all those companies may go out of business… and the pharmaceutical companies won’t make their profit on drugs that are actually causing more harm than good to those afflicted with cancer. We can’t have that can we?
The power, and underhandedness, of the FDA and Big Pharma, even extended to the US Patent Office – where duplicate patents were issued TO the FDA as a result of submissions by them for the chemicals and compounds developed by Dr. Burzynski years before. (Of course, these compounds were ‘”re-investigated” by the FDA under the tutelage of the former researcher from Dr. Burzynski’s labs to give them credence – but many years After he had published his results and acquired his own patents.).
This story is important for several reasons:
1. Dr. Burzynski found a cure for Brain Cancer (and others), and his researches have shown that the compounds he created from a normal persons blood and urine can also cure several other types of cancer (including breast cancer and lung cancer).
2. Our government is more corrupt and sneaky than most people realize.
3. Many lives have been, and will be, saved with Dr. Burzynski’s drug. The FDA and Big Pharma stand to loose millions (or more) when it is shown that this drug created by one doctor will cure many cancerous diseases that have been considered incurable by the AMA, FDA and Big Pharma. (Their drugs may prolong life, but at what price to quality of life?)
4. The greed of certain government organizations knows no limits to insidious theft of inventions where massive amounts of money are being made from the victimization of critically ill people.
5. The US Patent Office is clearly in the ‘pocket’ of Big Pharma and the FDA.
Our government these days sicken me. Their actions make me want to head to Washington and to physically shake some of these people! I find something else insidious and damaging to “The People” in almost everything I read or hear about the antics in Washington over the last few years. And, by no means should that statement refer to President Obama alone, although some of his decisions have raised my eyebrows (and Ire) on occasion. I have many questions for Mr. Obama that I am sure will remain unanswered, or covered up by his press secretary. This problem is systemic in our government.
The lobbyists, and backdoor contributions to politicians who promise to “help” the corporations who sent them, the pocketing of money ‘ear marked’ for special projects which include personal subsidies to congressmen and senators, campaign contributions hidden in special groups or unaccounted for, and the general ‘spinning’ and outright lying by members in both houses – is beyond out of control.
We the People need to take back our government from those who are destroying our country, our security, our health, and our children’s futures.
